Griffon Aerospace is seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to support ongoing uncrewed systems projects and customer programs. You will work closely with team members (Customers, Program Managers, Engineering, Production, Operations) to design, implement, and integrate complex systems across Windows and Linux environments to include ground station equipment and onboard mission systems. Responsibilities include system integration, network architecture design, software integration, and integration of payloads, datalinks, and communication systems. This position requires extensive hands-on experience with both Windows and Linux administration, network design, and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration challenges.
To be a successful candidate, you will need to have proven experience in system integration with a strong technical background in both Windows and Linux environments, network architecture, and the ability to communicate effectively with project and customer teams of various sizes.
- Design and implement system integrations across multiple platforms (Windows, Linux) and network architectures.
- Administer and maintain Windows desktop environments.
- Administer and maintain Linux systems across multiple distributions, including shell scripting, package management, and system configuration.
- Design and implement network architectures, including routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and security protocols.
- Integrate software applications and systems, ensuring seamless data flow and communication between platforms.
- Troubleshoot complex integration issues across heterogeneous environments, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
- Coordinate with cross-discipline team members to ensure successful system integration and deployment.
- Document system architectures, integration processes, and technical specifications.
- Maintain security best practices across all integrated systems and networks.
- Experienced with Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) is highly desired.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 10 years of experience in system integration, IT infrastructure, or related technical roles.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Windows desktop administration.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Linux administration across multiple distributions, primarily ubuntu and redhat.
- Strong background in network design and network architectures (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs). Cisco experience is preferred but familiarity with pfSense, OpenWRT, and others is helpful
- Proven experience with software integration, APIs, middleware, and system interoperability.
- Experience with scripting and automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar).
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience in lieu of education.
- Able to complete tasks in a timely manner and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Active Security Clearance or ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
- US Citizen.
