Griffon Aerospace, a leader in the exciting Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) industry, is seeking a talented Accounts Payable Specialist. The growing Madison, AL-based small business is seeking innovative individuals who want to join an up tempo, maker culture that proudly provides products and services to support the American Warfighter!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Full cycle accounts payable, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate recording of vendor invoices and timely payments.
• Compare purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges.
• Reconcile Credit Card Statements
• Work closely with Procurement, and Accounting Departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures to maintain compliance with company standards and legal requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years accounts payable experience
• Leadership, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a deadline intensive environment
• Ability to work with lots of details
